A finished diamond painting deserves to be seen. Framing protects the surface, flattens any curl in the canvas, and turns an evening's work into a piece of wall art. Here are the main routes, from simplest to smartest.
Seal it first (optional)
Before framing, many makers brush a thin sealer over the diamonds. This locks them in place and adds an even sheen. It is not essential, but it helps for pieces that will be handled.
1. A ready-to-hang finish
The simplest option is to choose a mounted finish when you buy — a stretched canvas, board mount or rigid panel — so the piece arrives ready to hang with nothing more to do.
2. A frame kit
Our Canvas & Frame Kit finish includes a frame you assemble yourself, sized to the canvas. It is the tidiest DIY route and needs no trip to a framer.
3. A traditional frame
You can also take a completed canvas to any framer, or use a standard frame in the canvas size. Because diamonds sit slightly proud of the surface, choose a frame with a little depth, and consider leaving the glass out so the facets catch the light.
Where to hang it
Keep finished pieces out of direct sunlight to protect the colours, and give larger works room to breathe.
