A tidy setup is the difference between a relaxing session and a frustrating hunt for the right colour. A little organisation goes a long way.
Sort by code
Diamonds come in labelled bags by colour code. Before you start a large piece, it helps to decant them into small containers or a storage box with labelled compartments, each marked with its code.
Label everything
Stick the code label onto each container. When a bag runs low you will know exactly which colour to refill, and leftover diamonds stay usable for future projects.
Work one colour at a time
Pour only the colour you are using into the tray, and return the rest before switching. It keeps colours from mixing and makes it easy to see what you have left.
A calm workspace
Keep the pen, wax and tray in the same spot each time. A stable, well-lit surface and a container for the protective film you peel away keep the whole process serene. Our Studio & Framing tools are chosen for exactly this.
